This has been the scene for our area all last night and today. I was awake every other hour by the clap of thunder or flash of light through our bedroom window. Since I live with a "wanna be storm chaser" he kept saying, (as I shot straight up in bed every. single. time.) "We are fine. Don't worry. I'm right here. Enjoy it." Enjoy it?! I have never once enjoyed a "storm" ..a nice rain while I'm sleeping, yes. A storm, no!
I've been watching the news all day, and it looks like we have been lucky so far. As bad as it seems during times here, the damage everywhere else is horrible! My prayers are with everyone affected by these storms. I pray God protects you and your families!
